Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Beds & Lifestyle website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website.


2. Products and Availability

All products are subject to availability. Beds & Lifestyle reserves the right to discontinue or modify any product at any time without prior notice.

Due to the nature of furniture manufacturing, slight variations in colour, fabric, wood grain, or finish may occur. These variations are not considered defects.


3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors. If a pricing error is discovered after an order has been placed, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

Payment must be made in full before an order is processed and dispatched.


4. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order does not constitute acceptance of that order. All orders are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Beds & Lifestyle.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.


5. Delivery Policy

Delivery available to PTA and surrounding areas ONLY. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to supplier delays, logistics, or factors beyond our control.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that items will fit through doorways, staircases, lifts, and into the intended space. Beds & Lifestyle will not be liable if delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

Any delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

Additional charges may apply for re-delivery or storage if delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related issues.


6. Returns and Refunds Policy

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), customers are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

6.1 General Returns

Customers may return goods within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

The item is unused and in its original condition

The item is in its original packaging

Proof of purchase is provided

6.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless defective:

Mattresses or bedding products that have been opened (for hygiene reasons)

Custom-made or special-order furniture

6.3 Defective or Damaged Goods

If an item is defective or damaged:

You must notify Beds & Lifestyle within 48 hours of delivery

We may arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with the CPA

6.4 Refunds

Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been inspected and approved. Processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.

6.5 Collection & Return Costs

Beds & Lifestyle reserves the right to charge a collection or handling fee for returns that are not due to defects or errors on our part.


7. Warranty and Defects

All products are subject to applicable manufacturer warranties.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Misuse or abuse

Incorrect assembly

Normal wear and tear

Accidental damage

Any defects must be reported within a reasonable time of discovery.


8. Assembly and Installation

Where assembly services are provided by Beds & Lifestyle, these will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Beds & Lifestyle will not be liable for damage resulting from incorrect assembly by third parties not authorised by us.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beds & Lifestyle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.


10. Privacy and Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)

Beds & Lifestyle is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

10.1 Information We Collect

Delivery and billing addresses

Payment information (processed securely via third-party providers)
